German for medicine and engineering — Goethe B1 to C1
4.6 · 7 reviews
I prepare people who are moving to Germany or Austria to work, mostly doctors, nurses and engineers, and the course is shaped by what the Approbation and the workplace actually demand rather than by what a general course covers.
That means the technical register early: case notes, handover conversations, the difference between how you address a patient and how you write about them. We do the Goethe exam work alongside it, because most employers ask for B2 or C1 on paper even when your spoken German is already past it.
I studied in Heidelberg and spent four years teaching in a hospital language programme, so I can tell you which of your mistakes will be forgiven on a ward and which will not.
