Business English for engineers and managers
4.6 · 8 reviews
Before teaching I spent eleven years as a project manager at an engineering firm in Manchester, which is why my lessons sound less like a coursebook and more like the meetings you are about to sit in. I work with people who already function in English but lose authority in it — the engineer who cannot push back on a deadline, the manager whose written updates get misread as brusque.
We work on real material: your slides, your emails, the standup you dread. I record roleplays of the conversation you are avoiding and we rebuild it line by line, looking at the small hedging phrases that make a disagreement survivable in English.
I also run a monthly mock interview for people applying abroad. If your English is below B2 I will say so in the first lesson and recommend a colleague — this course would waste your money.
